Rumble in the Tropics

Belizean road racing is famously flat. The great classics are won on long, straight, hot highways where the decisive question is who can hold a wheel for five hours. The Rumble is the exception, and it was built to be. It starts just outside Dangriga, turns immediately onto the Hummingbird Highway, and climbs to 2,773 feet before it is halfway done. There is nothing else like it on the calendar.
