Women's Cross Country Cycling Classic

In 1990 three women lined up to ride a race that had been closed to them for sixty-two years. One of them was Camille Solis, eighteen years old and just out of sixth form, riding on a bicycle her parents had given her to get to school. She won, and the oldest continuous sporting tradition in Belize stopped being a men's event.
