Ariel Rosado

Ariel Rosado was the first name ever written on the Junior Cross Country trophy, taking the inaugural edition in 2000. That same year, still only sixteen, he won the KREM New Year's Day Classic outright against a senior field of more than fifty riders, the first of three KREM titles in four years. He added a national championship and went on to qualify as an attorney, and the trophy awarded to the youngest finisher at every Junior Cross Country still carries his name.
