Clinton Castillo

Clinton Castillo was still a junior in 1953 when officials handed the under-eighteens a half-hour head start to loosen the grip of the era's dominant sprinter. The bunch reeled in every junior but one. Castillo held on to win, and the race became one of the best loved stories in Belizean cycling. He won again in 1967, fourteen years later, and was second in 1966.
