Douglas Lamb carried Belize's colours at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, riding the road race against the best in the world. At home he was a New Year's Day specialist, winning the KREM Classic in 1994 and again in 2003, nine years apart. That gap says as much about his durability as the wins do about his speed.
