Edward Miguel was seventeen and still in high school when he won the 660 yards sprint championship in March 1956, then took the Cross Country title in the same season. He sat out 1957, came back to win again in 1958, and defended it in 1959. Three titles in four years, built on a finishing sprint nobody could hold.
