Shane Vasquez

Shane Vasquez won the Cross Country in 2006, riding clear in a long breakaway and holding off the chase all the way home for one of the most celebrated Belizean victories of the modern era. He was national champion, took the KREM New Year's Day Classic in 2007 and the Alpheus Williams Classic, finished second in the Classic in 2004 and third in 2011, and carried Belize's colours at the Pan American Championships.
