Help us get it right.
The record should be accurate. If something looks wrong, tell us — corrections are reviewed before anything is published, and records can change as better evidence comes to light.
How to report an error
The quickest way is through Support, with “Incorrect information” selected. Tell us which record is affected and what you believe the correct information is.
What makes a correction useful
Corrections are easiest to act on when they include:
- the exact record affected — the rider, race, edition, or result
- what is currently shown and what it should say instead
- a source or evidence where possible — a result sheet, photo, report, or date
- any context that helps us verify it
How corrections are reviewed
Submissions are reviewed by Breakaway before any change is published. Sending a correction doesn’t guarantee a change will be made — we weigh it against the available evidence and decide, at our discretion, whether and how to act on it.
Records may change over time
Historical records are not fixed. As better evidence becomes available, entries may be updated or revised. That’s by design: the goal is an archive that gets closer to the truth over time, not one that pretends to have settled every question.
